Huff Snags Pole at Zhejiang

With a time of 1:33.173, Rob Huff put his #3 VW Golf GTI on pole, just ahead of his Leopard Racing teammate, Jean-Karl Vernay.  “It’s the first time I really have a lot of time to play with the car, and unfortunately, the opportunity comes at my last TCR event of the season. I am happy with the car and we kept working to improve the balance. The track is similar to other Chinese tracks I have been racing on: tight and twisty!” said pole-sitter Huff.

Pepe Oriola will start 3rd with Gianna Morbidelli and Daniel Lloyd 4th and 5th.

Of note championship contenders Attila Tassi, who currently sits in first, will start 7th with Stefano Comini starting 16th in his Audi.

Alain Menu and Gabriele Tarquini threw down the fastest times in Q1 of 1:32.811 and 1:32.935 respectively, but due to their temporary homologation on the Hyundai i30 N, were not allowed to take part in Q2.
