After chaos and a red flag at the initial race start, things settled down after the restart and we were blessed with a positions 1-4 battle for 15 laps from Germany’s Oschersleben. After Morbidelli got past JK Vernay for second, the hunt was on for Mat’o Homola’s Opel and with a last lap pass in the turn 11-12 complex, Morbidelli was able to slingshot past the leader, taking the Race 2 win and sweeping the weekend. Homola would finish second with JK Vernay coming third.
Daniel Lloyd and his Craft-Bamboo Seat would come home fourth with Stefano Comini fifth. Frederic Verish would finish 6th with Duncan Ende finishing a season-best 7th.
TCR International takes a long break until their next rounds in Buriram September 2-3.
